Insects Vocabulary Printable Book.
I added the insects words and common sight words: I ,can, see a, giving the students the fluency to read that they
will need in elementary. Just print the black and white pages for the students
to color and then take home to read with their parents. Use the magnifying
glass printable on the flashcards file and make it even more fun as the
students read using it.
Or, you can only print the teacher version to read in class.
Okay, now, take a look!!
I made another book featuring bees at a birthday party. Great if you have gone over the Birthday unit already.
There is a colored version for you to just print , bind and go.
Ask questions when you read.
Teacher reads: The bee girl has a present and a hat.
What color is the present?
Students: pink and greem!
What color is the hat?
Students: pink and yellow!
The student that has the prop can show it to the class.
And if you want to do more, well, there is a coloring version of the book.
I would suggest that you give each student any of the following coloring book props without telling them what is it for. Have them color as assigned on each item. Cut and add a straw behind one. When you start reading have the students pull out the item that they have that you have read.
The
reward for this unit I thought it to
be a class reward so have a class prize ready. Each class hand in a piece of
the reward to the boys and girls for them to put on the picture and tell them
that they have to complete the picture in order to receive a class prize.
Print
the boy and the girl b/w template and place it where students can keep track as
it is completed.
Print
the colored version and cut it as the pieces will be the rewards. Describe what
the girls did well, such as: Girls, you
finish your work today. Here is the reward. Boys, you stayed on task today.
Here is the reward.
