This is the next part of the Pets unit Resource. CUTOUTS to teach Preschool and Kindergarten English Language Learners in the classroom! LINK:https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Pets-Unit-for-Kindergarten-Holistic-English-Series-16-6837926

Pets unit Resource. CUTOUTS

Take your Pets Unit to the next level with these engaging cutouts activities for Kindergarten ESL.

These Pets Unit Cutouts are designed to help young English language learners actively use vocabulary through movement, speaking, and hands-on interaction. Cutouts are perfect for small hands and can be used on the board, table, or even online, allowing students to practice real communication in a meaningful way.

At this stage, students move beyond recognition and begin to produce language using complete sentences and structured interaction.

🗣️ Speaking Practice with Cutouts

Place the cutouts on the board or a table. Ask the students what they want? Each student will come to the front grab a cutout and say the sentence that you have modeled.

Teacher: I want a rabbit (grab a rabbit and hug it)
Student: I want a turtle. (grabs the turtle)

🎨 Bird Cage Craft and Descriptions

There are several sets, but I made only two examples.
This is the bird one. I used the cage to add a little crafting as it is to glue yarn on the cage. There are the colored birds and the black/white ones for you to choose from. Name the bird that students have to put inside the cage. There are three options to do it.
Teacher: Put the yellow bird in the cage. Or, Put the big yellow bird in the cage. Or, put the big, circle, yellow bird in the cage.
You can also put the birds in the cage and have the students point to them.
Teacher: show me the big triangle bird.
