Shapes Unit Printable Book
Literacy starts with the understanding of print. It's all about making sure that children will read from left to right in this case.
Students color the shapes as indicated in the sentence. They also trace the sentences. Assemble the book and practice reading. I assembled mine using a brass fastner on a corner. It looks fun and easy to read even online because it opens like a fan. The size is good enough for teaching online.
Shapes Bingo Game is always a favorite and it can be done in
class or online. Give the students their
Bingo template. Have them color all the shapes that you are focusing on Tell
the students that they can only color the items in any of the six colors of
your cards: red, yellow, blue, orange, green. purple. Put all your cards in a bag or box. At your
signal start calling the colors. Have them cross out or mark the item they hear.
If you want to play a shorter Bingo game, take out colors. For example, just
play with the primary colors.

Shape magnifying glasses to find similar shapes. Print and glue onto clear plastic, either plastic sheets, contact paper.Add a craft stick and there you have a puppet fror your students to wonder around the classroom finding any matching shape object.
Have students use "a" in phrases as they find objects: a circle!
