Teacher: It's a rectangle notebook.
Shapes Unit Small cards. I am
adding the same shapes
flashcards
in 4 in one page cards for printing purpose and for online teaching. Students will experiment with big and small shapes in the cards. Ask questions with can.
Teacher: Can you see a purple triangle?
Students: YES!
Shapes Unit Cutouts. Use
these to introduce or review the shapes. I placed mine onto craft stick and
made puppets. It is easy then for distance teaching.
The video of me using the puppets on my laptop.
Remember the crown I made for the first unit, Greetings, well, I used it again on a very windy and almost rainy day. Sorry for the bloppers but you can get the idea using the cutouts anyway. A crown can be used any time with any cutouts.
Use the shapes cutouts to sort using the children cutouts as a guide.
Shapes Unit Commands
Flashcards. Have your students listen, give and carry out this command.
Introduce the command POINT!
