This post focuses on the final stage of the Numbers 1–10 Unit for Kindergarten English Language Learners—the moment when students apply everything they have learned.
After completing the presentation (flashcards), practice (worksheets), and production (games) stages, students are ready to show what they know.
This post includes crafts, awards, and holiday-based activities, helping students review numbers in a memorable way.
Numbers Unit Craft
The
craft is always a fun way to show all what the students know and listen to new
language as they move on working on the craft such as, glue, color, put, etc.
This is a gumball machine. Students write a number on each gumball and color as
you dictate. I assembled it using a plastic bag.
Play by saying a number or a color and students touch the gumball.
Once the craft is finished, it becomes a reusable learning tool.

At the end of the unit, students receive an award to recognize their effort and progress.
I made a
badge. Print
it and add a pin on the back and have the students put on their
shirts. Celebrating learning helps students build confidence.

of the numbers. Just pass the button in between the slit. This is mainly for you to go dresses with the theme.
