Play
scavenger hunt in the classroom. Hide the flashcards and have the students walk
and find them. When a student finds a card, they have to say the Halloween
word. The student that finds the most cards wins.
Halloween
houses worksheets to do as a listen and color activity for the parts of the house. It will enhance
listening and comprehension skills. Or, students can color as they want and
then do a show and tell to describe their house.Have the stduents notice that there are different kind of Halloween houses to choose from.
Use
different materials for your students to add on each house to decorate each one
with their creativity. I glued yarn on this house.
Or
use pompoms!
Let’s
do more! Students can cut the house out of the worksheet and glue onto a toilet
paper tube and create a Halloween scene with all the Halloween haunted houses.
Use the Halloween characters to add up to the Halloween scene. Play as students
place each item as you say.
Teacher: The cat is
in front of to the haunted house.
All the
houses together as a Halloween neighborhood scene.
