Halloween Flashcards. Here is a set of heads flashcards of the most common Halloween characters.

Halloween Flashcards

Show the witch flashcard.
Teacher: Who’s this?
Students: Witch.
Have a student come to the front and touch a facial feature of the witch.
Teacher: Point to the eyes!
Teacher: What color is her hair?
Students: orange.

Sometimes we just need Halloween small cards!

An easy Halloween Jack-O-Lantern printable book is just fine to add up to the students’ collection. It comes along a puppet template.

You can make the witch’s finger ahead of time to use as a pointer or have the students make them. This helps the students point to the parts of the face in the book and to read the words.
Teacher: Point to the eyes! Use the witch’s finger.
Teacher: Let’s read! My eyes. (Students point to each word)

Take a look at the pages of the book.

The same works for the puppet.

The finger pointer could be used with the worksheets.

Several Halloween worksheets.

Students will listen and color the parts of the face: Color the eyes green!

Color the word skeleton!

Children can now cut the skeleton out of the worksheet and glue it on thick craft stick to create a mask puppet.

Here I am with the mask.

Labeling the face of the Halloween characters is another option for the worksheet, besides doing the listen and color.

You can do What’s missing with almost all the worksheets.

Teacher: Color the eyes orange! And the nose?

Students will look confused.  Well, let draw and color  the missing facial parts.

Draw and color the nose purple!

After the worksheet is colored as you dictated, have the students cut out the face. Use yarn to wrap up the parts of the face and make another craft stick puppet.

Showing off the mask.
