Seasons Unit printable book, craft and reward for teaching

 The Seasons unit resource is available for teaching Kindergarten English Language Learners. Special Education Consultants can use this material.Find printable colorful and easy to use games, flashcards and more.The materials are suitable for ELL classroom teachers, homeschooling parents, English Language tutors, or a combination of these.


The focus of this last blog post for the Seasons Unit will be on the printable book, craft and reward for teaching as extension activities.
Seasons Unit Printable book. Students will understand oral messages as part of their linguistic competence. They can also recycle and consolidate all the knowledge from the unit by creating this book as a class activity.

There is a colored version of the book that you can print and put together to read to the class. Give your students a review of sentences and vocabulary making connections to what they had learned in the unit.

And a b/w version that students can color as a group, bind and take turns to take home and read with parents.

Seasons Unit Craft to develop the artist side. Students get to express themselves using their bilateral coordination.Let them use any craft supplies where they want and decorate their trees in any way they feel like. There will be purposeful listening when you give them instructions.

Students will decorate the top of the tree and trunk will be toilet paper rolls that you will cut two slits to insert the treetop. Nothing better than developing your student's fine motor skills such as coloring or painting.

Place the Seasons flashcards on a table and have the students come and place their trees where they belong.

Seasons Unit Rewards. Use the positive reinforcement customized for the Seasons Unit. Praise your student's language proficiency.Give out the leaf reward after each class when your student accomplishes a specific behavior or goal. Make sure that your student understands why you are handing in the leaf as a reward.

There is a set of big leaves and another one with smaller leaves. Use the one that suits your class.
