There is a colored version of the book that you
can print and put together to read to the class. Give your students a review of
sentences and vocabulary making connections to what they had learned in the
unit.
Seasons Unit Craft to develop the artist side. Students get to express themselves using their bilateral coordination.Let them use any craft supplies where they want and decorate their trees in any way they feel like. There will be purposeful listening when you give them instructions.
Students will decorate the top of the
tree and trunk will be toilet paper rolls that you will cut two slits to insert
the treetop. Nothing better than developing your student's fine motor skills such as coloring or painting.
Place the Seasons flashcards on a table and have the students come and place their trees where they belong.
Seasons
Unit Rewards. Use the positive
reinforcement customized for the Seasons Unit. Praise your student's language proficiency.Give out the leaf reward after
each class when your student accomplishes a specific behavior or goal.
Make sure that your student understands why you are handing in the leaf as a
reward.
There is a set of big leaves and
another one with smaller leaves. Use the one that suits your class.
