Farm Animals Cutouts work for identifying and describing the animals. I love making a 3D Farm scene using the cutouts. I also made a Garden one. The material is print ready.
First, I grabbed a polystyrene piece and covered
it with green paper. Printed, cut and then, I glued the cutouts onto barbecue
wood sticks and crafts sticks. Punch the mayor pieces onto the polystyrene
leaving space for the animals. I taped an opened clip to each farm animal
cutout to make them stand. Have your students grab and animal and place it on
the scene as they name the animal.Use imperatives to give instructions.
Teacher: Put the duck in the pond.
Ask questions.
Teacher: Where's the horse?
Students: The horse is behind the fence.
Teacher: Where's the tractor?
Students: The tractor is in front of the barn.
Teacher: Where's the silo?
Students: The silo is between the barn and the hay.
Students love the feed me box. Make as many as you want for your games. There are several animals to choose from.
