Farm Small Cards  Activity 2-  Counting 1 to 10

Students practice counting farm animals using small cards with different quantities. By matching number cutouts to the correct cards students reinforce both numbers and vocabulary together.

There is a set of small cards with the farm animals in different quantity. I used some number cutouts that I had to make a number line. I could also hand in the numbers and have the students match the number cutout to the corresponding small card.
Ask questions:
Teacher: What’s number 3?
Students: Chicks!
Teacher: How many chicks?
Students: three! Three chicks.
