Routine Verbs
worksheets. These are for further practice of key language.It is great to have a variety of worksheets available for the diversity of students that you might have in class.The worksheets can help develop language skills.
There is always a set of vocabulary worksheets that can be turned into small flashcards for the students to play many games or to use as a vocabulary reference. Students should be able to identify and name the actions. There is also an opportunity for writing by tracing the new words.
Worksheets
are participative as they are hands on.This is a classifying as an essential skill worksheet. Students cut and paste the activities
that are done in any given part of the day. After the students finish, ask
questions.
Teacher:
What you do in the morning?
Students:
I brush my teeth!
Students have to use their thinking skills to complete the worksheet and practice core vocabulary. The Worksheet set is a linked language review of the new vocabulary(Routine Verbs) with the rooms in the house that they already know.
They have to think which action is done in which room of the house.
Give the students the 3 rooms in the house worksheets. Dictate the color of
each room.
Teacher: Color the bathroom blue!
Hand in the routine cards, print a set of each group of four
students and have them pick a routine and glue in the corresponding room.
Have the students describe the location of people in the house:Daddy is in the bathroom.
Worksheets
let you cover more topics that your textbook is allowing. In this case students
can review counting along with other vocabulary, such as: toothbrush, brush, soap,hair, face,breakfast, lunch, dinner and more.
Teacher:
Look at the brushes. Count how many brushes you can see. Color the brushes blue.
Some Routine Unit worksheets can be done with the parents if needed. Easy matching activity to do. The activity involves coloring a very hands-on learning opportunities.
Cutting, coloring and more are activities that your students should be doing at this age. Several worksheets to pick from.There is one to develop pre-reading and writing by following the arrow path. Show them how to follow the path lines from the big to the small pictures.
