This blog post is for the wrap up part of the lesson plan included in the Transportation resource. It is available at the TPT store. All are good Transportation activities for your classroom.
Transportation Printable and interactive book. This book is thought out to be a group book as each student creates a page, meaning that particular students will color the page and glue a picture of him/herself or draws him/herself. It's a collaborative activity. The book has picture clues for language comprehension. The more students read the better they become. So, once the book is assembled, each student can read its page. Students should be able to identify the vehicles or the ways of transportation.
Also ask questions.
Students: Pedro!
Teacher: Where is
Pedro?
Students: Pedro is
in the truck!

Transportation Unit Crafts as another fun classroom activity.
Make
stencils using the templates and plates.
Have the students use the stencil of their
choice to create their vehicle. Let them use stickers and any other crafts
materials to enhance their vehicle.
A moment to check out the video for the taxi craft.
Transportation Unit Rewards. Print a template for
each student. Hand in a part of the train after each class as a positive
motivation. Tell them that once they have the train in color it means that the
unit is over and they are ready for the next one.
