After introducing vocabulary and practicing with small cards, students need opportunities to use language in a meaningful and interactive way.
These Community Helpers cutouts are perfect for creating hands-on ESL activities that promote speaking, movement, and real communication. They allow students to act out roles, make connections, and use vocabulary in complete sentences.
Cutouts are especially effective for young learners because they turn learning into play, helping students stay engaged while building confidence in English.

small cards or the flashcards as a guide. Have your students use subject pronouns instead of names.
