These small cards are perfect for hands-on learning, movement, and speaking practice in kindergarten and elementary classrooms.The Body Unit Small cards can be used for online teaching or small groups in the face to face class. 

Body unit small cards  for introducing vocabulary

These cards help English learners practice simple sentence structures such as: “It’s a finger.” while reinforcing vocabulary through repetition and interaction

Total Physical Response (TPR)

Using small cards makes it easy to incorporate Total Physical Response (TPR) into your lesson for teaching body vocabulary.

 Show a body small card to the students and have them touch the body part and say the word.  Teacher: Touch your hand./Show me your hand.

Directions / arrows activity

Students can review the body parts as they are introduced to Up / down and left/right using the arrow cards. Use a small white board to place the flashcards. I glued a small magnet behind each card.

 This is an example using the hands small card and the up and down arrows cards. These are imperatives that can be used as classroom commands.
Teacher:What are these ?
Students: hands!
Teacher: Put your hands up! (show the arrow and the hands facing UP)
Repeat with hands down.

 Then, do the same with the left and right small flashcards to identify the direction.
