This is the first part of the Lesson Plan- Presentation using the flashcards. Here is the complete set of flashcards for the fruit and vegetable unit that will include: apple, orange, pear, banana,carrot, tomato, potato,onion. The flashcards will aid the stduents to identify and describe fruits.
Fruit and Vegetables Sorting Flashcards. Place the flashcards on the board, divide them into fruit and vegetables.Review the colors vocabulary.

Sorting activity to help students distinguish the size of the fruit and vegetables. Students should identify the color of the fruits.Place the

the small version on the bottom in random order and have the students place

Give the flashcards to random students.
Have them place the flashcard under the like or don’t like flashcard.
The fruit and vegetables can have a shape to review. Have your students identify the shapes: circle, rectangle, square and triangle as they sort the flashcards on the board.This unit is wonderful for counting in English. There is a complete set of flashcards with fruit and vegetables in 1 to 10. Students can match group of vegetables to the number.Here are the vegetables and a writing activity using a clear plastic sheet.
