Adding several Halloween
resources related to Halloween and the word car.

Halloween Flashcards.
Introduce the new Halloween words:
bat, witch, Mummy, Ghost, Frankenstein, Dracula. Ask the students where are the Halloween characters.
Teacher:
Where is the ghost?
Students:
In the car!
Teacher:
What color is the car?
Students:
yellow!
Teacher:
The ghost is in a yellow car!
Have
the students say similar sentences for the rest of the flashcards.
And a set of Halloween small
cards is included. The small cards work for games. I placed the
small on medium size binders. Found a small ball and played bowling!
A set of Halloween characters worksheets to color. Ask
questions and direct the coloring.
Teacher: Who is in the car?
Students: Dracula!
Teacher: Color his car purple!
Two printable games for
Halloween!
A game board.
And a three piece Halloween puzzles for the
younger kids in class.
The Valentine's Day Flashcards can
be used to review the colors. Ask questions:
Teacher: What
color is the heart?
Students: yellow!
Also review the
parts of the face.
Teacher: Show me
the teddy bear’s eyes!
Easy and fun for reading practice. Students
can color the color word and the heart , include the teddy bear paws. As for
the face dictate how to color the facial features as a review.
Teacher: The teddy
bear’s eyes are blue!
Have the students listen and color the parts of the face.
Teacher: Color the robot’s eyes green!
HOLIDAYS: Christmas.
Several Flashcards to introduce the Christmas vocabulary to the students.
Here are the cutouts to make a Diorama Toy Shop or a poster. Have the students identify all the vocabulary items and have them color all the pictures. The sled is empty for the students to fill it up with toys either drawing them or cut and paste pictures.
Students can glue all the items where they want and then do a show and tell.
Students: This is the toy shop. This is the Christmas tree.
Or,
Say a word and have the students point to it.
Teacher: Show me the snowman!
