Set 1 of Worksheets face unit. Listen and color the facial features: face, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hair.
Use magnetic letters to write the words as in the card.
This is how I made my example:
Cut and paste/ make a puzzle. Two worksheets to review numbers and face unit.
Then, cut
by each light gray line. Have the students put together the puzzle by ordering
the numbers. Students can say the numbers as they order the puzzle. To go even
further, students glue each number line onto a paper and create a puzzle.
Students
color the parts of the face as indicated by the teacher.
Students
will trace all the facial features. Then, they can cut them and glue onto a paper plate
.
More worksheets for the face unit. Choose the worksheets that will suit your class. There are worksheets for following a path from left to right to develop pre-reading and writing skills. There is another one for drawing a self-portrait.Students can describe thier picture saying: This is my face. It's my hair. It´s brown.
From a face unit worksheet to a puppet. Students trace each face part and then color as you indicate. Then, students can cut each one. Glue the face part onto a craft stick and there you go, you have puppets for your students. Say a face word and have the students put the puppet to match their own face part.
It’s
always good to review previous units, such as the school unit. Have your students
color the facial features and add the ones that are missing.
The video on how to put together your numbers.
