This resource is part of Face Unit for Kindergarten-Holistic English Series #6 available at this link: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Face-Unit-for-Kindergarten-Holistic-English-Series-6-6057570

Teaching about Easter to your young students is a great opportunity to acquire new vocabulary related to this cute Holiday and use the face unit as a review. And it also works to expands the language skills and comprehension of a new Holiday. Language is culture.

There are 3 flashcards for the Easter unit: egg, rabbit, chick. Use these for interactive learning to encourage active participation. Place the flashcard on the board and start asking about the pats of the face on the egg: What’s are these?
Students: eyes!

Continue it the rest of the parts of the face. Use the pointer that you can make using the template and a wood rod.

And have the students notice that there are parts of the face that are missing: What is missing?

Students: hair!

Then, draw the hair. Continue with the rest.

Find several worksheets and do a listen and color: color the eyes orange! And have the students draw the missing part of the face.

You can use the face unit cutouts that come within the unit to show the students which part of face that they should color without having to translate: draw and color the hair brown.
