Shapes are everywhere in real life, let your students recognize the shapes with the zoo animals by paying attention to the details.

Use the worksheet set for the students as a visual to sort the zoo animals by shapes. This activity will lead to clear understanding of the basic shapes.

Students can take the file folder game home to reinforce the shapes with their parents. This game aims to have the students classify the zoo animals by their shape.
I printed and glues the 4 templates onto a big colored paper cardboard and you are ready for this problem solving activity.

Another way to do this is to make a shape board for sorting. I wrapped a piece of a box and divided it into 4 spaces. I also, had these animal paper that I cut into the shape for the sorting. The idea is to enhance vocabulary learning in the new language.
