This can be a printable book, it only comes in a colored version that you can use to extend the lesson. You can also use it as a PDF book on any electronic device. Scroll through the pages as you read the simple sentences.Ask questions: What is she doing?
Students: She's reading a book.
Teacher: What color is her book?
Students: red!

There is a set of Routine verbs props to go along the book. The idea is that you read the book and the students do the action using the corresponding prop to expand the reading experience.

Students can bring in a picture to make a stick puppet to perform the action. Reading with a prop gives movement and intensity to the story. Students will have the puppet in their hand to get in the story and make it their own.They will be the main character of the book as you read.
Teacher reads: I go to bed. Ask questions:And you?
Students: I go to bed, too. (using their prop)

Also use the moon cutout. Ask yes/no questions: Do you go to bed in the morning?

Students: NO!!!
