Park or playground printable book, craft and rewards

Park Unit Printable book. Great for sending them home for the emergent reader in your class. This is a color, cut and paste book. There is boy/girl template to paste. Use as you want to complete it in pairs or in bigger groups.

Playground Craft. By doing crafts, students are communicating in the target language with you and their classmates. I grabbed a part of a pizza box and glued craft paper around the box. Students could color each playground object and glue onto toilet paper rolls cut in half. Students can place their objects as they wish and have a show and tell activity later.

Park Unit Rewards come in handy when your students are struggling within the lesson. You should print these onto card or stiff paper. Show them the reward that is a pass to go to the playground if there is one in school or send home for the parents to take them and explain why you are giving the reward.

Teacher: Tomas, you participated by speaking English in class and here is your pass to go to the playground.
