This blog post will be on how to use the small cards  in class or for online teaching. They are small enough to be seen on the screen and big enough to play in class.

Helping students with new vocabulary to learn the concept of nature will help them become better readers when they go to elementary school.

The small cards with the elements of nature words can be placed into a small picture album. You can use them for online teaching.

The color words small cards  can be used for sorting the nature vocabulary cutouts.

The flowers and the leaves can be used to practice the question: What color is it?

The small cards are for sorting singular and plural form of each garden noun word.

Use any letters set for having the students copy the words.

The small cards can be cut into word and picture and have the students play match.

Make patterns by printing double or triple any small cards that you wish.

Make the feed me boxes, there’s a bird and a dog. I used a recycled cereal box.
Ask questions: Can birds eat leaves?
Students: Yes! Feed the bird.

I had these readers, I think you can make some for your students.

I cut one of those long swimmers and made slit in the middle to place the cards in a fun way for the students to draw and write the content of each card.

If you have a pocket chart, place the small cards and play swat!

Do you have any new idea on how to use these small cards? Write them in the comments below to help other teachers. Check out the next blog post for the Garden Unit Cutouts:   https://eflpreschoolteachers.blogspot.com/2021/06/garden-unit-cutouts-for-kindergarten-esl.html
