Body Unit Games for the English Language Learner

Lesson Plan part 3 for the Body Unit : Production using games which are collaborative activities for your classroom. Students will interact and speak. The game give them even more vocabulary practice.

Body unit Games. Those last minutes of the class with the little ones are the hardest. Here are some games to keep them busy and speaking English.It is also a support for your students to learn the new material.

Bingo game.

Play the game as any other BINGO! By having the students color the template ítems and cut them into cards. Have them select 6 cards to play the Bingo game.

The Bingo cards are for more than just playing. Write all the vocabulary words on big cardboard. Have the students place each card on top of each word.

Half cards game. Print the cards and cut them in the middle. Students can just pair each part. For a more in classs activity, you can hand in a part to each student in random orer and have them look around for another student that has the other part and make a complete card and stand together. Students will name the body part in the picture.

A classic puzzle with monsters. Just print and the students put the pieces together to create the body.

Another kind of puzzle in which students can work on left and right.

Domino game mainly helps develop critical thinking skills, it requiere attention and focus from the players. Social interaction between the students will go on.

Body Unit Gameboard. Students are not exposed to gameboards enough during their childhood, bring them back to the English class for lots of fun and actívate the communication in English.
