Play sequence: tell the students that they will place the cards on the table in the order that you say. Teacher: banana, onion, apple, potato.
Set 2 of tracing worksheets for fruit and vegetables vocabulary.
Have the students trace along the
dotted lines and color the fruit and vegetables. Ask questions:
Teacher: Find the Apple. What color
is the Apple?
Students: red!
Say a color and the students say
what it is.
Teacher: orange!
Students: orange and carrot.
Family Members eat fruit and
Vegetables worksheet.
Have the students name the family
members. Tell the students that they are hungry and that they have to feed them
by drawing the fruit or vegetable they
hear.
Teacher: Point to Mommy. She likes
apples! Draw an apple.
You might want to draw your own
examples for the student to follow.
Face and Fruit/Vegetables
Worksheets.
Have the students review the words
boy and girl. Tell the students that they will complete the face of the boy or
girl with fruit according to the fruit template. They can make their own
combination.
When done, have them show their boy
or girl and point to the parts of the face.
Student: eyes, nose, mouth!
Review the fruit and vegetables by the adjectives big and small worksheet. Students should distinguish size.
Make a mobile using the big and
small pictures from the worksheet.
Ask questions: Is this orange big or small?
Students: It's big!
Use this worksheet to review the
numbers with fruit and vegetables. Have the students count all the fruit and vegetables. It’s just a cut
and paste activity for describing quantity.
Have the students count the fruit and vegetables.
Students: five tomatoes!
Teacher: How many apples are there?Students:seven!If your students are more advanced, ask questions with There is/are. Teacher: Are there any bananas?Students: No, there aren't.
More worksheets to use as a listening number apple review. Dictate the color of each apple: Teacher: Number one is green! . Then have the students cut and paste the number word.
Ask questions using the worksheets.
Another worksheet to review the numbers 1 to 5 inside a carrot, perfect for the very little ones in your class. Students can color the numbers how they wish or just dictate the color of eah number.Teacher: Number one is purple!
Another set of worksheets for counting and matching quantities of bananas to the number.
A similar set of worksheets is for matching numbers to the quantities of apples on a wagon.
Even more counting with this unit. This set of worksheets are empty baskets where students will draw the apples that match the number.
The same activity for counting are included with worksheets for bananas, pears and oranges.
And I wouldn’t miss the counting the vegetables worksheets.

All kids love color by number, use it for homework or for extra practice with the colors.
There is a set of flashcards to go with the worksheet. Students will identify and describe the school supplies that each apple has.
Review the classroom objects with the worksheet.Ask questions: What does the green girl apple have?Students: a pencil!
Review the emotions: happy,sad and angry with the apple and pear worksheets. Print the worksheets for your students to color as in the colored cards that you have, the apples come in 3 colors and the epars in two. After they are done coloring, play BINGO! with your colored cards. Sorting worksheets for fruit and vegetables are fun!Students will fill the baskets as it corresponds just as you did with the cutouts.Have your students draw their favorite fruit and vegetable and hang around your classroom. Students can say a sentence: I like apples!
