Christmas and Numbers 1 to 10 Resource.

 This year I have been creating a series of 30 units for teaching Kindergarten students. The resources that we choose play an important role in the learning outcome. All these resources have a Bingo game. This game is for obviously playing Bingo, but it can be used for sorting by colors and by numbers.

Print the Number Santas and paste onto plastic cups. They are ready for sorting the Bingo numbers.

As you have the cups ready, start giving directions.

Teacher: Find number 1! Put it in the Number 1 cup!

Students: one!

The numbers can be sorted by colors. Print the ornaments and glue them onto cups.

Ready to sort. This time, students can say a sentence as they sort into the cups.

Student: Number 3 is blue! (puts the card inside the cup)

And there are more small ornaments to continue sorting by colors.

Use the Bingo numbers to make a correspondence with the ornaments.

                      And use the matching mat for several activities.

One is just matching the colored ornaments to the mat. Watch the video.

                         

Then, use it as a coloring page. Then, have the students cut each ornament. Punch a hole, put a piece of yarn and now you have tree ornaments.

Glue the Santas Numbers onto a file folder. Have the students correspond the ornaments to each Santa as they count.
