BIG and small template for Sorting Cutouts

 For every theme or unit you can sort the cutouts into Big and small.

Some book series come with the cutouts to use in your lessons. Students can sort them into big and small on a table or the floor.

I also use paper plates to sort big and small cutouts.  You can also use plastic paper plates and write the words using white board markers. Check the blog post for more.

You can make toilet paper puppets with animal cutouts. Have the students make patterns using big and small animals. 

Many activity books come with exercises on big and small. Have the students cut them off and make a poster or sort them on paper.
