Community Helper Unit for Preschool ESL- small cards

I only made the community helpers flashcards in a smaller size for distance learning or for smaller classroom settings. Some teachers like this size in order to save printer ink. 

Create craft stick puppets and use them to introduce vocabulary.

 Use them to ask affirmative and negative questions.

   

Use them to greet or to say goodbye to the class.

The puppets can be used to show emotions, use an angry voice, a sad voice or a happy voice. Play the Simon says with community helper puppets. 

I made the community helper in a cup. Cut a slit under the cup and place a straw with the small card taped on the top of the straw.

It can be used to introduce the vocabulary. Check the video.

It can be used as a warm up for the students to guess the community helper in the cup. Check the video.

The cards can be cut in two parts and play a matching picture and word game. 

 Cut the cards in random ways and have the students play with the puzzles.

With the cutouts you can make a file folder game to match the community heleprs to the place they work.
