I had this printable of a tablet and as children love it. I thought of putting it in a clear plastic sheet for the students to insert each flashcard and write over the flashcard with a white board marker that can be erased easily. If you want it, make a request: ei98srl@gmail.com
Not just learning the letters but reading is an essential part of our teaching. Sometimes we run out of ideas. I bought this kind of ruler with a clear colored paper in the middle. I thought it would be fun to use for reading. Maybe you can make your own by using transparent colored paper.
Cutting letters out of magazines is always fun and a yes, a mess!

I was downtown buying art supplies with my children when I saw this small board made by locals here. It has two faces, the blackboard and the whiteboard. I posted some pictures of downtown La Paz on my Instagram.

Going through a lot of things that I have from many years of blogging. I found these bottle caps that I glued the letters on. Get the printable template for free. LINK:https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Number-Bottle-Caps-2155938

I bought these cardboard strips with lines and never seem to use them. I gave it a chance and turned out great, if do not have them available, use block lined paper or print from the internet.
The last letter is just here. I wanted to make something different. I saw this game and made it. I only used letter Z but it would be fun to include all the letters. I blew the balloons and tape the flashcards and attached the balloons to the ceiling. Name a letter or flashcard and have the students hit the balloon.

Here is letter M. A letter template to make words as in the flashcards. If you want it.  Request it by email: ei98srl@gmail.com

I printed fly swatters. You can make your own, if you do not want to carry around a bunch of actual fly swatters. Play the famous game. They are free, just request by email:  ei98srl@gmail.com

Letter O goes into a Monster’s mouth! I made this monster, the template is your just by request. I glued onto an old box, cut the mouth off as to make a hole.
Pointers are fun to use for reading. Mine are free by request.

Save those fries containers from your favorite fast food restaurant. I have mine from Mc Donald’s. Use them for sorting the letters and words or use them in any unit.

Alphabet Printable Flashcards and Posters for Preschool ELL

This is the following post about Alphabet Printable Flashcards. The letters here are from G to L. Link to the resource to English to Elementary English language Learners: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Alphabet-Flashcards-and-Posters-for-ELL-908352

Doing art activities is an opportunity for your students to learn other language expressions. Students will use their creativity to complete the worksheet and get better at expressing themselves.
I did this letter G by using a Q-tip and watercolors. I placed the flashcard printable in a clear plastic sheet for the students to trace each word and the letter. It can be easily erased after they are done.

Alphabet flashcards worksheets
Create the game find the partner. Cut the flashcards and give a piece to each student in random order. At your signal have the students walk over the classroom looking for their partner to complete the flashcard and stand together.

Start reading by having students match the word and the picture.

The flashcards are good for a little bit of writing by themselves using the lined paper.

I made a petal book, cutting the flashcard picture and word. I can send the template, request it by email. (ei98srl@gmail.com)

Join all the flashcards with a paper fastner and a fun way to review the letter.
or make a crown!

And pocket charts are a must have, you can use them for any unit.

Alphabet Printable Flashcards and Posters for Preschool ELL

I made these Alphabet flashcards long time ago and included them in a workbook that is available in my Teacher store, but I thought that sometimes teachers just need flashcards and posters to reinforce the alphabet.
Watch the video for all the letters.

I am proposing more ways to use them. But check the old post where I basically made mini books with the same resource.  Link: http://eflpreschoolteachers.blogspot.com/2016/01/alphabet-resources-for-ell.html
Here are all the letters, but I will be covering from A to F on this post. Have the children color each flashcard as you dictate or they dictate or free coloring. Then, students cut each flashcard and start playing games or creating crafts.
Flashcards are always intended for Speaking without translation.

I have a set of commands flashcards to indicate different actions for each flashcard.  I will give away these two. Write me an email and request them. (ei98srl@gmail.com)
make puzzles !
or make an accordion book !

Toilet paper rolls always make good puppets. I use them a lot, they can have the flashcard stand to play games, such as show me.

Teacher: Show me letter C!
You can make another foldable book with the worksheets!
Or play SLAP!

Or use craft sticks and make more puppets.  These puppets are good for role play.
Teacher: Hello, Letter D!
Student: Hello, duck!
Use your magnetic letters and have the students write the words!

And what if we cut it all and make puzzle that the students can play with on their tables or they can glue on a poster.

Have the students cut each letter e from magazines.
I made a ring book with all the flashcards!

And make a step book. I had to look up how to make it in an easy way.  I came up with this version. I placed a long cardboard under the letters and glued the last letter and so on.
Make puppets with the flashcards.
