Numbers 1 to 10

Print and paste on a colored file folder. You will need dice and mini erasers. These games are good for teaching one to one correspondence. The goal is to be the first one to have all the pictures on the grid covered. Players roll the dice( I bought these cute containers), count the number of dots on the dice and cover that number of monsters on the board using the mini erasers. The monsters have to be covered from left to right, top to bottom.

2. Plate numbers: When teaching the TOY UNIT, I made these plates, got the template at(http://www.childcareland.com/), and bought some toys. Each student places on each plate the number of toys as indicated.

3. Numbers and erasers. Use number outlines. First ,I printed the numbers onto construction paper, cut them out and paste on white cardboard. Have students place mini erasers on each number.

4. Number clothesline. Get old socks from your kids and write a number from 1 to 10 on each sock using textile paint. Then have students hang up the socks in numerical order.

5.  Trace the number gluing yarn.

6. Using some chalk for games!
